has anyone ever asked you to put an engagement ring in a cake?

well...
one young couple came to the cafe the other day while i was having my lunch break. they were wearing a matching knitted purple vest. i was eyeing them, and i thought they were so cute.
minutes after my break, the guy came to the counter and asked if we have something nice where he can put a ring in to...coz he's going to propose to his girlfriend.
my initial reaction was, "oh my God!"
i really felt excited!

Marika and i suggested that he put in a cake...you know, the usual thing...we were not so creative 😅
when we already had the slice of cake, he handed the ring to me and i put it in the cake...my hand was shaking while i was trying to hide the ring in the slice of cake...
moments later, we saw the guy running to the hall to get a glass of water. we were worried that his girlfriend might have choked on the ring...
we were relieved and happy when they left the cafe, so much happier when they came, and the girl wearing her diamond engagement ring 💗💗💗
