2nd day of holiday

it was out of compulsion that i got up early on my second holiday. at nine.am, i finished my morning coffee and was all set to go to the social security system office. i learned from my previous visit that one should be extra early at the office or else, they'll run out of numbers for you. i was 100. i fell in line at 9.30. my number was called at 11:40. by then i found out that they already released an ID for me in 2006. that never got into my hands. so, the lady adviced me to file an affidavit of loss. but before that, i had to fall in line again to pay for the renewal of my card. that took me another 2 hours. at 2pm, i was on my way to the public attorney's office to get the affidavit. unfortunately, they were requiring one paper that i had at home. so i had to fetch it. when i got back to PAO, everyone behind the desks was busy fidgeting with their gadgets. dear gawd! i so wanted to snap a picture of them and send to the ombudsman, if only atty. louie delagosa didn't appear in the room. i snapped from my anger to someone who's been smitten...just like the old college days. hihihi! it's the ending that matters.
