comma cafe
my sister and i visited andy's boarding house to check the vacant room. the three of them, berl, andy and my sis, ended up checking on ghosts and dark auras in the rooms and under the bed. ugh! to get rid of the goosebumps we decided to hang out somewhere.
we discovered "comma cafe", a small Korean cafe along m.h.del pilar st., molo. it's managed by a young Korean couple. they were actually nice, friendly and accommodating. i remember how we kept asking for a glass of water and the lady was saying "tea!". and we said, "no, water." she explained to us that they have this "tea", water from boiled brown rice. we instantly said "okay, we want to try it." the "tea" tasted good and we kept asking for some more.
we spent the rest of the time laughing, palm reading, talking about ghosts and enjoying our spicy ramen, blueberry latte, choco banana waffle and the "tea". we loved the comfortable ambiance in the cafe. no wonder we didn't leave the cafe until closing time.
